Crystal Eyes have been flying the flag for true heavy and power metal since 1992. Founded by Mikael Dahl and Niclas Karlsson, the band carved their name into the underground with a run of sharp demo tapes before unleashing a string of acclaimed albums that channel the spirit of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Accept with their own melodic steel. Across records like “World of Black and Silver”, “Vengeance Descending” and “Killer”, Crystal Eyes became a reliable force for soaring vocals, blazing riffs and fist‑raising anthems, earning slots alongside Blind Guardian, Yngwie Malmsteen and Candlemass, plus multiple appearances at Sweden Rock Festival. Re‑energised with the powerhouse line‑up of Mikael Dahl, Claes Wikander, Henrik Birgersson and Jonatan Hallberg, the band hit a new peak with “Starbourne Traveler” in 2019, a triumphant showcase of classic metal fire that topped the jury list in Sweden Rock Magazine.
