About TheNwothm
Since 2023, TheNwothm has grown through the work of a small team of passionate fans. We care deeply about the music and want to keep it visible, supported, and easy to discover. The site gives bands of every size a place where people can find their work, from new groups releasing their first demo to established acts building a wider audience. We run the platform on a non-profit basis and keep it focused on the community that supports it, using a single, straightforward banner offer to help cover our ongoing costs.
Why Your Support Matters
Running TheNwothm involves regular costs. Hosting, maintenance, and updates all take time and money, and publishing regular content requires consistent attention. Because we operate as a non-profit platform, we rely on donations and small-scale advertising to keep everything running. Our main advertising option is a simple banner placement in exchange for a donation, and every contribution goes directly back into the site—nothing is taken as personal income. Your support helps us stay active and continue covering bands from around the world.
How Our Advertising Works
We offer straightforward advertising options for bands, labels, promoters, venues, and businesses connected to the heavy music community. Current options include banner placement for £15 for four weeks and a £10 referral rate. Advertising can also be shared across our social media platforms where agreed.
For a £15.00 donation (or more if you wish), you can place a single clickable banner on the front page for four weeks. This banner appears on our main landing page and links directly to your chosen destination—such as your brand site, label page, online shop, or specific release—so visitors can go straight from TheNwothm to your own platform. We will also share your advert across our social media platforms to increase your reach. If you introduce another brand that books advertising with us, you can advertise for £10.00 for four weeks as a thank you for helping the platform grow.
