Since 2023, the nwothm has grown through the work of a small team of fans. We care about the music and want to keep it visible, supported and easy to discover. The site gives bands of every size a place where people can find their work. This includes new groups releasing their first demo and established acts building a wider audience. We run the platform on a non profit basis and keep it focused on the community that supports it.

Why Support Helps

Running the nwothm involves regular costs. Hosting, maintenance and updates all take time and money. Daily content also needs consistent attention. Because we operate as a non profit platform, we rely on donations and small scale advertising to keep everything running. Every contribution goes straight into the site. Nothing is taken as personal income. Your support helps us stay active and continue covering bands from around the world.

How Our Advertising Works

Our advertising is small, relevant and community focused. We only work with brands, festivals, labels and creators who fit naturally within what we do. Nothing appears on the site unless it benefits both the advertiser and the fans who visit. We want advertising to feel useful, not intrusive.

For a £15.00 donation, you can place a clickable banner on the front page for four weeks. The banner links directly to your brand, label, shop or release. This gives you clear visibility in front of people who already care about the music. We also share the advert across our social media platforms to increase your reach. If you introduce another brand to us, you can advertise for £10.00 for four weeks as a thank you for helping the platform grow.
