Serpent is a heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2006 and driven by a fascination with Greek mythology and fantasy. Working independently, they have built their identity through a series of raw, early demos that introduced their melodic yet forceful approach to storytelling. Releases such as “Til Hell Freezes Over”, the 2014 demo and “When the Gods Strike” helped define their sound and set the tone for the myth‑laden world they continue to explore.
Their most recent single, “Cold Chains Of Andromeda”, shows a sharper, more focused version of the band, pairing classic heavy metal roots with dramatic, narrative‑led songwriting. Serpent are now preparing to release their debut full‑length album, “As The City Burns,” which promises to expand their universe with bigger themes, heavier riffs and a stronger sense of scale.
