German heavy metal leaders Accept continue their fiftieth anniversary celebrations with a new recording of their landmark track “Balls to the Wall”, featuring Rob Halford, Matthias Jabs, Rex Brown and Jason Bowld. The single is taken from the band’s forthcoming album “Teutonic Titans 1976 to 2026”, arriving on the 4th of September 2026 through Napalm Records.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Zeuss, the new version of “Balls to the Wall” brings together some of the most recognisable figures in heavy music. The collaboration highlights the scale of Accept’s anniversary project and offers a powerful introduction to the album.

Wolf Hoffmann said: “Rob is the Metal God. Once he agreed to take part, it was clear that ‘Balls to the Wall’ was the perfect choice. I recorded all rhythm guitars, Matthias Jabs delivered a brilliant solo, Rex Brown played bass and Jason Bowld handled drums. It is a fantastic combination.”

“Teutonic Titans 1976 to 2026” presents nineteen reimagined Accept songs, each featuring a different lineup of guest musicians. More than fifty artists from across the international metal scene appear on the record, creating a celebratory release that reflects the band’s influence over five decades.

Wolf Hoffmann added: “There is no better way to honour fifty years of Accept than by inviting our peers and inspirations to join us. These new versions carry the history of the band while offering something fresh. We are proud to share this record with the world.”

The album revisits material from “I’m a Rebel” (1980) through to “Eat the Heat” (1989), with contributions from Tobias Forge, Ray Luzier, Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Mikkey Dee, Billy Corgan, David Ellefson, Sebastian Bach, Gary Holt, Phil Demmel, Chuck Billy, Joe Lynn Turner, Jeff Scott Soto, John Bush, Frank Bello, John Norum and Bumblefoot. Accept’s current lineup also appears on a new recording of “Hellhammer”, joined by Jason McMaster.
