The Scepter Announce Debut Album “Shadows In The Tower”

1–2 minutes

The Scepter have confirmed that their first full‑length record, “Shadows in the Tower,’ will land on the 24th of July 2026. To mark the announcement, the band have released a lyric video for the track “Dunes”, now streaming on YouTube:

Pre‑orders for the CD edition are now open, exclusively through www.noremorse.gr. A vinyl pressing is scheduled for September, with further details to follow.

Formed in Ottawa in 2018, The Scepter channel a sharp blend of Heavy and Power Metal, echoing the melodic drive of Riot, the bite of Tokyo Blade, and the uplifting energy of Helloween. Their twin‑guitar approach and high‑flying vocal style took a major step forward in 2025 when JP Abboud (known for his work with Traveler, Gatekeeper, Borrowed Time and more) joined the lineup and recorded vocals for the upcoming album.

Already recognised as a commanding live band, The Scepter are gearing up for a busy run of shows in support of “Shadows in the Tower.” On the 21st of July, they will appear alongside Metal Church and Heathen at Overflow in Ottawa. That date doubles as the official release party, where the band will have advance CD copies available exclusively at the venue.
