Jawbreaker Records has announced the release of “Wolfshead”, the debut full-length album from Auckland, New Zealand-based heavy metal band Wolfshead.
Founded in 2022 by Aaron Baylis and Santi, the band was later joined by bassist and vocalist Martín Thayer Joui and drummer Martin Cavanagh. What began as a shared appreciation for classic heavy metal and hard rock gradually evolved into a line-up focused on crafting its own material, with Aaron and Martín ultimately taking on vocal duties themselves.
Recorded and produced by the band during 2025, “Wolfshead” brings together the results of several years of songwriting and development. Driven by dual vocal melodies, strong guitar harmonies and a clear love for heavy metal, the album introduces a band that has steadily built its sound on its own terms.
