TheNwothm.com will always be the heart of what we do, but Instagram has become the place where the day‑to‑day movement of the site actually happens. Every new interview, review, feature or news update is pushed straight to instagram.com/thenwothm the moment it goes live, giving readers a quick way to see what’s new without checking the site manually. It also gives bands a direct line to listeners who follow the scene through social platforms. Alongside that, we regularly share bands’ own posts so their updates reach further, something that makes a real difference for newer artists still finding their audience.
We also run instagram.com/thenwothmlive, a separate page dedicated entirely to the live side of the scene. Our contributor Alex captures performances, atmosphere and crowd energy from shows across Europe, building a visual record of what’s happening onstage and in the room. These clips often introduce people to bands they’ve never heard before, and many of those listeners then head to the site to dig into interviews, reviews and longer features.
Following our Instagram channels helps the scene grow. Every follow, like and share increases the reach of the artists we cover and gives bands a stronger chance of finding new listeners. It also shows us what people connect with most, which helps shape how we present new music and support the artists involved.
If you want your band’s content featured on both the site and Instagram, you can email thenwothm@gmail.com or use the form below. We’re always open to hearing from bands and continuing to build a platform that supports traditional heavy metal.
