Savage Grace formed in Los Angeles in the early eighties and became part of the first wave of bands associated with the emerging speed metal movement in the United States. Their early activity placed them among the groups contributing to the development of the style during that period.
“Curse The Night (82 to 84 Demos)” compiles the earliest studio recordings created by Savage Grace. The sessions were made between 1982 and 1984 and document the band during its initial years. The 1982 material was recorded by an earlier line up, while the 1984 recordings feature the musicians who later recorded the “The Dominatress” EP. Together, these sessions provide a record of the group’s early studio work.
The audio has been remastered from the best available sources. This release represents the first time this material has been issued on vinyl. It is intended as an archival edition for listeners interested in early eighties metal and the documented history of the band.
