Eternal Champion have released a new two‑track EP titled “Friend of War.” The band’s last full‑length, Ravening Iron, arrived in 2020, so this new material marks their first major release in several years. The EP offers a glimpse of what listeners can expect before the third album arrives later this year.
CD copies will be available in Athens tonight at @up_the_hammers_festival. More copies will be on sale next weekend at @hellsheroes. Fans know how quickly the band’s physical releases sell out, so early purchases are recommended.
The EP is dedicated to the work of Karl Edward Wagner and takes inspiration from his novel Dark Crusade. The cover features an oil painting by @batdog. Layout and design come from @greylords.hoard.
