Cruel Force began their journey in 2008 in Rheinzabern, Germany, later relocating to Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg. From their inception, they have channeled an aggressive mix of black, speed, and thrash metal, rooted in a deep reverence for the raw essence of the genre’s early days. Their lyrics revolve around themes of Satan, blasphemy, and the cult of heavy metal, echoing a spirit of defiance and darkness. After making an initial impact with their early releases, including The Rise of Satanic Might and Under the Sign of the Moon, the band paused activity in 2012. A decade later, they returned with renewed force, releasing a series of singles and the album Dawn of the Axe in 2023, continuing their legacy under Shadow Kingdom Records. Cruel Force remains active, unwavering in their dedication to extreme metal’s most primal energies.
