Get ready for a tribute to Sandy Kruger featuring Night Demon, Destructor and Sacred Few!

On August 9, 2025, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio will serve as the epicenter for an unforgettable heavy metal celebration. This one-of-a-kind event will bring together three iconic bands—representing both the past and present of the genre—with deep ties to the city of Cleveland.

NIGHT DEMON, a force in traditional heavy metal for over a decade, have established themselves as a global touring powerhouse. Though the trio hails from Ventura, California, their connection to Cleveland is undeniable. When Night Demon was starting out in the 2010s, Cleveland became the first city in North America to fully embrace them. In fact, in 2015, the listeners of WCJU Metal on Metal voted their album Curse of the Damned as album of the year. This bond between the band and the city was further cemented when Night Demon recorded their first live album, Live Darkness, in Cleveland as a tribute to the city’s unwavering support. At the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event, Night Demon will perform Curse of the Damned in its entirety to mark the album’s 10th anniversary, along with other fan favorites.

DESTRUCTOR, a cherished Cleveland institution, have been the guardians of heavy metal since 1984. With six full-length albums under their belt—including their latest, Blood, Bone and Fire, released in 2023—the band continues to make waves. Destructor recently made a triumphant return from their appearance at Japan’s True Thrash Fest. For this special show, they will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut Maximum Destruction by playing the album in full.

SACRED FEW may not be a household name, but for true heavy metal aficionados, their impact on Cleveland’s metal scene is undeniable. Their 1985 album Beyond the Iron Walls has earned a cult following. Tragically, vocalist Sandy Kruger passed away in 2022, and this performance will be a heartfelt tribute to her. For this unique tribute show, Sacred Few’s lineup will feature a stellar cast, including Vanik, Ed Stephens of Ringworm, Adam Neal, Nicholas Burks, and Stacey Savage from Savage Master, Deborah Levine from Lady Beast, Chris E from Olathia, Sandy’s son Eric Kruger on drums, Nina Vanek, and Michelle Burlingame of the Red Hot Heathens Burlesque Troop.
