Lost Realm Records is thrilled to present a special limited edition vinyl series dedicated to the powerhouse performances of American heavy metal legends, RIOT. Covering the band’s monumental years from 1980 to 1990, this collection showcases some of their most iconic live moments, capturing the raw intensity and passion that made them a staple in heavy metal history.
The series launches with RIOT’s unforgettable appearance at the 1980 Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington. Sharing the stage with legendary acts like RAINBOW, JUDAS PRIEST, and SCORPIONS, RIOT, led by frontman Guy Speranza, delivered a fiery performance that solidified their reputation as rising stars in the metal scene.
Following this release is the 1983 concert at Staten Island’s Paramount Theatre, a hometown show that saw RIOT embrace a new era with Rhett Forrester at the helm. With Forrester’s commanding vocals, the band charged forward, releasing Restless Breed (1982) and Born in America (1983), strengthening their foothold in the genre.
The series concludes with RIOT’s explosive 1990 performance in Osaka, Japan, a show that highlighted their global influence. With Tony Moore on vocals, the band delivered a setlist packed with tracks from Thundersteel (1988) and The Privilege of Power (1990), demonstrating their evolution and enduring impact on heavy metal.
Each album in this exclusive series has been carefully remastered for optimal sound quality, and every release features newly commissioned artwork, making this a must-have collection for devoted fans and vinyl collectors alike.
