Doro Pesch, the legendary voice of Warlock and one of heavy metal’s most enduring icons, will host an intimate VIP event on the 21st of March at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. Doors open at 7.00 PM, with the performance beginning at 8.00 PM, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience a landmark moment in her history up close.

The evening marks the anniversary of “True as Steel,” the first Warlock album to be released in the United States in 1986. Its arrival coincided with Doro’s debut promotional tour across America, beginning in New York and introducing her to the country during a vibrant and influential period for heavy metal. That first visit became a turning point in her life, sparking a deep affection for American audiences and inspiring the creative momentum that shaped Warlock’s next chapter.

The energy and passion she encountered on that tour directly influenced the creation of Triumph and Agony, the band’s breakthrough 1987 album that carried Warlock to international prominence. The record featured the anthemic “All We Are”, a song that became a global hit and remains one of the most recognisable and celebrated choruses in heavy metal, firmly establishing Doro as a worldwide figurehead of the genre.

The Dingbatz event will feature a full-band acoustic performance designed to bring fans closer to the heart of the music. Classic Warlock songs, fan favourites from this pivotal era, and select newer material will be reimagined in a powerful and personal setting that highlights the emotional core of Doro’s work.
