Label: Dying Victims Productions
DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the much-needed reissue of BAPTHOMET’S BLOOD’s debut album, Satanic Metal Attack, on vinyl LP and – for the first time – CD formats. This marks the beginning of reissues of all of the band’s four albums.
Originally released in 2006, the Italian act went all in with their pure and authentic love for the old metal scene of the 80s. The aim was never to reinvent the wheel and bring new influences into classic speed metal. These maniacs represented a new generation which wanted to continue and blast out heavy metal in the old way, with the same spirit. 7 tracks + a cover of Italian legends Fingernails take this debut album just over the half an hour finish line
Line-up 2026:
Necrovomiterror – Bass, Vocals
Bloodoildrinker – Guitars
S.R. Bestial Hammer – Drums
G.S. Philtyrant – Guitars
Nightagressor – Guitars

Review
Satanic Commando comes in creeping like someone giving a sermon. It gradually builds feeling like a scene from a horror scene before we hit that sharp roaring metal attack. The track is is fast furious with no damn given. First impressions is that feels like party music where you can throw yourself around and chuck back the beers. The guitar sound is raw, dirty and in your face! No thrills, hard hitting and straight to the point pure speed metal.
Blood, Vomit and Satan continues in the same vein as Satanic Commando with demonic fury. The aggression felt throughout simply roars like an engine spitting fire. The pace is just all go all haste with no slowing down. When it comes to the focus here it is just strength, power and the riff! Pure fist pumping action!
Nightstalker squeaks and hums like some machinery on a space ship or area 51! Then you hear some weird creature like an alien attack with a girl scream. Then there is a load of commotion and panic before the track explodes! The track will cut your mind in half like the strike of an axe. Thrashy drums and hungry bass lines combined with smoking rhythms and dominate vocals come at you full force! If you are not in the pit going crazy already then why not?
Satanic Beerdrinkers takes you to a bar where there are people enjoying themselves being rowdy! This all comes before we are thrown into the metal uncontrollably. Get ready to be bashed around like you have been pulled into a mosh without giving permission. The riffs are spicy and have some character again reflecting the bands ability to keep you hooked! A nice metal scream and punching 4/4 section comes from around the corner before the petrol fuelled solo comes in. It then returns to going all out for even more headbanging and fist pumping frolics!

Kill The Monk returns to the horror twinges with a creepy intro before catapulting you into an intense and heavily locked in song. Throughout you feel the darkness and though simple in ideas, this feels like someone coming at your mind with a scalpel. It is just pure speed engulfed in flames smoking like crazy! What a great song to throw back a beer break a sweat to!
Speed Metal Warrior goes back to the vibes of the first song with a spoken intro then transition into a slightly slower pace then other songs that came before. Of course that doesn’t last long. A Tom G Warrior style ‘ooh’ hits before the crushing speed tears through like like raging tornado! You feel the weight of commanding rhythms that straight at you! The lead work cries out in the huge open space in short stints before we continue the metal strike. It is just a full on ground assault that will stop at nothing!
Satanic Metal Attack comes in with some flair and swagger like a big statement. The music then shreds with burning fret action that will feel like a blur if you looked at it. Later the riffs that come along made me think of Slayer in their approach which is pretty cool. This is simply another song that will make your brain rattle around in your skull. Big group shouts and gritty vocals lines drive the song forward making this another killer song. I especially love the horror ending which feels like the rise of the demon!
Heavy Metal Forces (Fingernails cover) is the last track on the record and personally I have not heard of the band they are covering. But I must say this song s bad ass. Just listening to it I can see why it is the perfect choice for a closing track. If you took elements from all the songs before and put it into this you would feel like the song is one of theirs. There is thrash, there is the adrenaline, the speed. The chance to go crazy and mosh till your hearts content is here. You will be choking from the kicked up dust cloud after this absolute belter of a song!
Conclusion
In the end, this record is built for one thing only: total, unrestrained carnage. It thrives on strong rhythm work, straight‑to‑the‑gut riffs and a simplicity that becomes its greatest weapon. Every track feels like a call to throw yourself into the pit, spill a beer, scream the chorus and let the chaos take over. There is no subtlety, no polish, no attempt to be clever. It is pure party music forged in speed, sweat and bad intentions. By the time the final notes crash out, you are left grinning, bruised and absolutely ready to hit play again.
