Azrael Announce Single And EP

Newcomers Azrael, an Italian heavy metal band rooted firmly in the classic sound of the 1980s, announce the release of their debut EP “Clockwork Abyss.” The record arrives on the 1st of May 2026 and presents five tracks of traditional heavy metal recorded and produced entirely by the band. Ahead of the EP, the lead single “Chinatown” has been unveiled over on their Youtube channel.

“Clockwork Abyss” draws on the legacy of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and the formative years of the genre. The EP showcases twin‑guitar interplay, melodic vocals and a commitment to the hallmarks of classic heavy metal. Azrael aim to deliver a sound that honours the roots of the style while presenting their own identity as a new band emerging from Italy’s metal scene.

The full EP will be available on Bandcamp from the 1st of May, coinciding with Bandcamp Friday.
