Thunderor Release “Bleed For It”

Canadian heavy metal trio Thunderor have officially unveiled their new album “Bleed For It,” now available worldwide through Boonsdale Records. The record marks a bold creative step for the band, expanding their signature blend of classic heavy metal, hair‑metal flair, and theatrical rock‑opera storytelling into a full concept experience.

Formed in 2020 by long‑time collaborators JJ Tartaglia and Jonny Nesta (both recognised for their work in Skull Fist), THUNDEROR first broke through with their 2022 debut “Fire It Up,” which reached #1 on Earshot’s National Loud Chart. Since then, the band have toured across Europe, Canada, Mexico, and South America, sharing stages with Airbourne, U.D.O., Enforcer, Night Demon, and other leading acts in the modern heavy metal landscape.

A Cinematic Concept Album Inspired by the Stage

Bleed For It” doubles as the official soundtrack to Thunderor The Musical, which premiered at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2025. Set in an alternate 1992, the story follows Bowen, a once‑promising musician and biker who attempts to reclaim his purpose with the help of his closest friends. Their journey unfolds through rivalry, romance, rebellion, and the pursuit of redemption.

Tartaglia, who leads the project’s vocals, drums, keys, and melodic direction, describes the album as a rallying cry for ambition and adventure.

“I hope this album inspires listeners to follow their dreams. Let it be the soundtrack to your unbridled life adventures.”

Musically, the record pushes deeper into the band’s arena‑ready identity: soaring choruses, emotional hooks, and dramatic arrangements shaped by influences such as Meat Loaf, Van Halen, Night Flight Orchestra, Ghost, Skull Fist, and The Darkness.

A Tracklist Built for Big Stages

The album mirrors the musical’s narrative arc, from the adrenaline of “Pump Up The Volume” to the cinematic finale “In The Fire O’ The Heat.” Key moments include the anthemic title track “Bleed For It,” the road‑trip spirit of “Take Me To The Show,” the wrestling‑inspired “Get ’Em Counted”, the heartfelt “”Cape Breton Home,” and the rebellious surge of “Streets Of Fire.”

Thunderor’s momentum continues to grow following the success of their 2024 single Get ’Em Counted, which surpassed 230,000 YouTube views, and the enthusiastic reception of their stage production in 2025.
