Phantom Announce New Album

Mexican speed and thrash metal band Phantom confirm the release of their third full‑length album “Not Midnight Yet”, arriving on the 26th of June 2026 through High Roller Records. The announcement is accompanied by a new video for the track “Summoned to Kill”, which offers the first clear indication of the album’s heightened intensity, sharpened songwriting and darker atmosphere.

“Not Midnight Yet” was recorded and mixed in Guadalajara with long‑time collaborator Héctor “Northen” Ibarra at Nehtron Studios, before being mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony in Germany. The production team’s familiarity with the band’s sound allows Phantom to deliver their most focused and dynamic work to date, combining technical precision with a sense of scale and mood that pushes beyond their earlier releases.

Vocalist and guitarist J. C. García describes the album as a complete reflection of Phantom’s identity. He notes that the band continue to expand their sound while keeping their foundations rooted in old school metal. The result is a record that balances speed, melody and structure with a clear sense of purpose.

Tracks such as “Hordes of Bats” deliver high‑velocity aggression, while “Dracula’s Curse” and the title track explore heavier midtempo territory. “The Pale Remains of Time” introduces melodic vocals, clean passages and progressive elements, marking one of the album’s most ambitious moments.
