High Roller Records present “Together As None”, the latest single from Canadian melodic rock group Lockhart. The track is now streaming exclusively on YouTube and arrives as the second advance song from the forthcoming album “City Pulse”, due in Summer 2026. Both singles will be available across all major digital platforms next week, with LP and CD editions already on sale through the High Roller Records shop.
Lockhart deliver a vibrant take on AOR, pairing bright synthesisers with polished hard rock. The Canadian trio features vocalist and multi instrumentalist Devon Kerr, bassist Jason Junop and drummer Fabio Alessandrini. Their combined experience spans a wide stretch of the rock and metal world, with previous work linked to acts such as Cauldron, Axxion, Bonfire, Enforcer and Annihilator.
The band introduced themselves with the EP “No Chance” in 2022, followed by the single “City Pulse” in 2025. Their debut album builds on that foundation with a sound shaped by the spirit of eighties arena rock and a broad set of influences. Listeners will recognise touches of Journey, Boston, Toto and Foreigner, while the band also draw on earlier traditions including doo wop, classic pop harmony and choral arrangements.
Kerr describes the writing process as intentional and detail focused. He explains:
“The influences are endless, and they go deep. I appreciate the comparisons. These bands are monumental. Lockhart has a sound of its own though. Bands that existed during the times you mentioned definitely provide influence! However, if you look past the surface (overdriven guitars and old synthesizers), you’ll hear influences from 50s doo wop, legends like Brian Wilson, and straight up choral music, too.”
Songs such as “The Dose That Made You Poison”, “Under Fire”, “Before The Fall” and the new single “Together As None” were shaped through careful arrangement and extensive refinement. Every vocal layer, guitar lead and keyboard line was selected to serve the final composition.
The band are confident that their melodic sound delivers the power and musicianship appreciated by High Roller Records fans. Contributions from Nick Poulos of Municipal Waste and Ian Chains of Cauldron highlight their continued ties to the label’s heavy metal roots.
