METAL MARCH GOFUNDME CAMPAIGN LAST WEEK!

Our Goal

We’re now in the later half of March 2026 and our GoFundMe campaign is underway. This year’s fundraiser covers the next twelve months of hosting, maintenance and essential running costs for the site. We’re also aiming to build enough of a buffer to produce some promotional materials. We’re well into the month already and we have not reached our target yet, so every push now makes a real difference.

Everything we do starts from one belief. The music comes first. Since 2023 every review, interview, feature and news piece has been created by a small volunteer team who give their time because they believe this movement deserves a proper home. They do it for the nwothm community, for the bands who keep it alive and for the belief that real metal should always have a place where it is treated with respect.

The site is fully independent and non‑profit. Every donation goes straight into hosting, maintenance and the basic running costs that allow us to keep publishing. Nothing becomes profit. It keeps the platform online and lets us stay focused on the music and the people who make this scene what it is.

This year’s campaign has grown slower than we expected, which makes every contribution even more meaningful. Each donation helps close the gap. It keeps the site online, supports the work we publish and carries us forward into 2026 and beyond. When you donate you are not just supporting a website. You are helping protect an independent space for nwothm, for the bands driving it forward and for the community that gives it purpose.
