Our Goal

We are now at the start of March 2026 and our new GoFundMe campaign is live. This fundraiser covers the next year of hosting, maintenance and essential running costs for the site. We also hope to build further funds to produce some promo materials.

We run this platform with one clear purpose: the music comes first, not the profit. Since 2023 every review, interview, feature and news piece has come from a small volunteer team who give their time because they believe this movement deserves a real home. They contribute because they care about the nwothm community, the bands who keep it alive and the belief that true metal should always have a space where it is treated with respect.

The site is fully independent and non profit. Any income goes straight into the essential costs that keep everything running. Donations never become profit. They keep the platform online and allow us to stay focused on the music and the community we serve.

This year’s campaign has not started in the way we hoped, and that only strengthens our drive. Your support keeps this platform moving. Every contribution fuels the work we publish and helps us carry this project into 2026 and beyond.
