Animalize are a heavy metal band from Lyon, France, active since 2014 and known for a high‑energy sound rooted in classic metal traditions. Signed to Dying Victims Productions, they explore themes centred on the extinction of humanity, pairing sharp songwriting with a vivid, retro‑futurist aesthetic. Their catalogue includes the EP Tapes from the Crypt (2020), the acclaimed debut album Meat We’re Made Of (2022), the EP Angles Morts (2023), and the 2025 full‑length Verminateur, which has strengthened their reputation within the French and international underground. They have also contributed an exclusive edit of Damnée to the 2026 compilation Metal Lourde – La nouvelle vague du hard française.
