Leeds very own Dream Tröll have been kicking around for quite a few years now and have released a number of kickass releases however there has been somewhat a noticeable lack of activity in recent months. This may have left fans questioning what has been happening in the bands camp however a new update has been posted on the official Facebook page!

Here is what Matt of Dream Tröll had to say:

Heeeey, everyone

Just an update because things have been quiet for a long time!

(The TL:DR version – life has taken a big shit on me, please help by grabbing some merch)

Let’s start with a little ‘back story’

I’ve been unable to properly get stuck into new music for a while because of 1.5 years of chronic pain – my back is knackered!!! But, I’ve spent the last 2 weeks doing LOADS of walking (30k steps a day!) and doing rehabilitation exercises in the gym everyday – Although it’s been incredibly painful doing this, I’ve persevered and things seem to be improving

I started recording vocals for a new song yesterday, keep an eye out for updates soon

As well as struggling with chronic back pain, my life has been turned upside down – 10 year relationship has recently ended, so I’m having to find a new place to live and I’m not going to have the space for all of the Dream Tröll merch I have in my house so expect some sales/discounts very soon. The money from sales will reaaaally REEAALLY help with my current difficult situation that I’m in , so if there was ever a time to support me/my music, now is the time!

I’ll also be selling some of my guitars / music equipment if anyone in the UK is interested.

I’m still hanging in there – you can’t kill ROCK n TRÖLL!!
