Hailing from the rural parts of Ohio, and with two metalhead/rocker parents, I’ve always been exposed to the more heavier parts of music. My journey began with THE DOORS and ALICE IN CHAINS and expanded to OZZY and METALLICA, but I was always searching for new music.

Born in 1998, a lot of the heavier music of my peers was nu-metal and metalcore, but still I longed for something fresh, but still old. And then in 2015, I found it with VISIGOTH and soon after that ENFORCER and HAUNT. I was my high school’s token long-haired kid haha. I’ve been into the scene for a bit, but TheNWOTHM is my first actual gig writing about it, which works out since I haven’t missed a major trad metal release since 2020.

In my spare time, I like to work on my novel, I attend school (online), and I’m big into video games and comic books. Basically, I’m a huge dork, and I also collect physical media like CDs, DVDs, and games.
