Temptress release new video for “Dream Metal”

Italian dream metallers Temptress have just unveiled the video for their newest track, “Dream Metal,” now streaming in full via the Nwothmfullalbums YouTube channel. The song is the second single from their eagerly awaited debut album, Catch the Endless Dawn, which is set for international release on July 25th via Dying Victims Productions.

Formed in 2018, Temptress brings together members of Bunker 66, Children of Technology, Gargoyle, and Boia, uniting over a shared love for the dreamiest and most melancholic heavy metal of the 1980s. Their sound draws inspiration from cult legends like Proud, Randy, Heavy Load, and Gotham City, while also channeling the darker mystique of bands such as Mercyful Fate all wrapped in an undeniable flair for melodic, catchy choruses.

Their journey began with 2019’s “The Orb 7″ on Dying Victims, later featured on the label’s “Dying Victims vol. 2: Heavy Metal Attack” CD in 2023. Now, Temptress steps fully into the light or rather, the dream with “Catch the Endless Dawn.”

True to its title, the debut album sees the band glide through a dreamy, soft-focus realm of heavy metal, laced with moody melodies and subtle songwriting touches. While their roots are firmly planted in traditional metal, Temptress deliver something more introspective and refined. Echoes of early ’80s Rainbow, April Wine, and even Blue Öyster Cult’s Club Ninja can be heard weaving through the record’s hypnotic layers. It’s not fantasy metal, it’s dream metal.

The album’s first single, “Woman of the Dark,” premiered recently, offering another glimpse into the ethereal world Temptress have conjured.
