There is no need for an introduction for the man who has been behind Iron Maiden’s kit for forty two plus years. Nicko Mcbrain has been the driving force and backbone to Maiden and today, unexpectedly for many it was announced on the bands facebook that he would no longer be touring with Iron Maiden. Given the fact he is in his seventies and he pushed himself for as long as he has, he certainly deserves his semi-retirement and will certainly be missed by many. Here is the full statement below:
