Dying Victims Productions will release the fourth Toxikull album, Turbulence, on CD and vinyl LP formats on the 24th of April internationally. To mark the occasion, the band present the new single Midnight Fire, now available for streaming.

Since forming in 2016, Portugal’s Toxikull have become one of the most driven and uncompromising forces in European heavy metal. Their sound merges the high‑energy pulse of traditional heavy metal with the velocity of speed metal, all delivered with a sharp, modern edge that has defined their rise.

The band’s reputation has been forged through commanding live performances and a steadfast commitment to their craft. Their 2019 album Cursed and Punished and 2024’s acclaimed Under the Southern Light strengthened their standing, while the 2025 live album Echoes of the Arena captured their onstage power and entered the Portuguese Top 100 music charts.

Turbulence marks a new chapter for the quartet. The album reflects a heightened sense of songwriting maturity, uniting the raw force of speed metal with the melodic sweep of classic heavy metal. Across ten tracks and thirty nine minutes, it explores themes of resilience, inner conflict and the enduring spirit of the metal faithful. From the opening surge of Midnight Fire to its towering choruses, Turbulence showcases a band pushing forward with confidence and ambition.

Produced by Jamie Gomez Arellano, known for his work with Ghost, Mayhem, Opeth, Behemoth, Angel Witch and Moonspell, the album delivers a sharp, powerful sound that complements the band’s most focused performance to date. The result is a rallying cry for heavy metal devotees across the world.
