KERRIGAN Announce Second Album “Wayfarer” for March 2026 via High Roller Records, Reveal New Video

KERRIGAN have premiered a new song from their sophomore full-length album “Wayfarer”, which is set for release on March 27th 2026 through High Roller Records on all formats. The band have also unveiled a video for the track “Fighter” which you can watch below:

Recognised as one of the most promising new acts in Germany’s traditional heavy metal scene, KERRIGAN return three years after their acclaimed debut “Bloodmoon” with a record that deepens their melodic identity while expanding their creative range.

Guitarist and vocalist Jonas Weber describes “Wayfarer” as a work shaped by atmosphere and emotional nuance. He characterises the album as dreamy, melancholic and versatile, and views it as a natural continuation of the ideas explored on “Bloodmoon”. Several concepts that appear on the new record were first conceived during the mixing sessions of the debut at Iguana Studios, and early versions of songs such as “Surrender” and the title track developed alongside the creation of the first album.

Guitarist Bruno Schotten highlights the band’s shared love for classic eighties metal as a guiding influence on the new material. He explains that the goal was to write songs that feel immediate yet reward repeated listening through subtle details and strong melodic hooks. Schotten believes that tracks like “The Ice Witch” and “Blood And Steel” bring the band closer to creating what they consider a modern heavy metal classic. He also emphasises the album’s stylistic breadth, noting that it moves from orthodox speed metal to brighter, uplifting moments such as the new single “Fighter”.

“Wayfarer” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studios in Germany. The cover artwork was created by Adam Burke.
