Mechanic Tyrants is a speed metal band from Nuremberg, Germany, formed in 2021 by Florian Fait and Danny Keck. Originally launched as a studio project inspired by Megadeth’s early aggression, the band evolved into a full lineup with shred guitarist Jakob Struve and punk-rooted drummer Orlando Mack. Their name pays homage to a previous demo from a dissolved band, marking a fresh start with fierce intent.

Known for their raw, old-school speed metal foundation, Mechanic Tyrants blend influences from thrash, heavy metal, progressive rock, and blues to craft a timeless yet unreplicated sound. Their debut album St. Diemen Riots was released on 27 September 2024 via Cerveza Blanca Records, following earlier releases including the Meanhattan EP and singles like Speed Metal Guerrilla and Tower 42.
