Tempest Saint unveil new video for ‘The Cursed’

London-based metal outfit Tempest Saint have released a brand new video for their latest single, ‘The Cursed’. The track is taken from their debut album, Hyperbolized, and is available to watch now via YouTube:

Formed in 2023, Tempest Saint have quickly carved out a name for themselves in the UK heavy metal scene. Their sound blends classic metal riffing with the melodic edge of modern rock, drawing influence from the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal. Since the release of “Hyperbolized” earlier this year, the band have gained momentum with critics praising the album’s tight production and dynamic songwriting.

A standout moment on the record features a guest appearance from former Judas Priest vocalist Tim Ripper Owens, which has helped propel the band into the spotlight. The NWOTHM community hailed the album as an “absolute metal masterpiece,” cementing Tempest Saint’s reputation as one to watch.

The new single, ‘The Cursed’, explores themes of identity and nostalgia within the metal genre. Guitarist James O’Connor explains, “It’s about feeling connected to a scene that’s no longer in the mainstream. We wanted to honour the artists who shaped us — Maiden, Priest, Ozzy, and Tygers of Pan Tang — and channel that spirit into something fresh.”

With a run of UK shows planned for the remainder of the year, Tempest Saint are set to continue their rise. Their live performances promise the same intensity and purpose that define their studio work.
