Peruvian heavy/speed metal band Blizzard Hunter has unleashed a new live video, capturing their explosive performance at Germany’s Headbangers Open Air festival. Filmed and edited by Lars Bohlen during the band’s European tour in July 2025, the video showcases the raw energy and classic metal spirit that have defined Blizzard Hunter’s international rise. Formed in Lima and active internationally since 2014, Blizzard Hunter evolved from their earlier incarnation Blizzard (2006–2013). Their current lineup features Sebastian Palma (vocals), Lucho Sanchez and Tony Rojas (guitars), Lalo Salas (bass), and Alejandro Rojas (drums). Known for their high-octane blend of traditional heavy metal and speed-driven intensity, the band has toured extensively across South America and Europe.
Blizzard Hunter’s discography includes the acclaimed debut album “Heavy Metal to the Vein” (2015), the triumphant follow-up “The Path of Triumph” (2022), and their latest EP “Legacy of Survival,” released in April 2025.
