Sölicitör unleashes “Enemy in Mirrors”: a fierce return to speed metal roots

After a five-year silence since their acclaimed debut, “Spectral Devastation,” Sölicitör has returned with a vengeance. Their sophomore release, “Enemy in Mirrors”, out now via Gates of Hell Records, is a ten-track barrage of classic speed metal fury, steeped in the spirit of the 1980s but sharpened for today’s sonic battlefield.

From the opening blast of “The Descent” to the haunting finale “The Devil’s Hand (Part II),” the album delivers a relentless mix of heavy, speed, and thrash metal elements. It’s a record forged in fire and personal upheaval, as the band explains:

“This album was built on blood, sweat and struggle, personal catastrophes and triumphs… pulled together by dedication to a long term vision and determination above all odds.”

Vocalist Amy Lee Carlson not only leads the charge with her commanding voice but also crafted the album’s artwork, reinforcing the band’s DIY ethos. The recording process was equally hands-on, with re-amping, mixing, and mastering handled by Chris Mannino to ensure every riff and scream hits with maximum impact.
