Forged in the heart of Ohio’s metal scene, Damien has been delivering blistering riffs and powerhouse vocals since 1981. Known for their raw energy and melodic aggression, the band carved their legacy with standout releases like Every Dog Has Its Day (1987) and Stop This War (1989), earning cult status among fans of classic heavy and power metal.
Despite lineup changes and a brief hiatus, Damien remained resilient. Vocalist Randy “Wolf” Mikelson’s departure in 1990 led to the short-lived project Wolf Gang, but Damien returned with renewed fire, releasing Angel Juice in 1995 and Beyond Apathy in 2011. Their 1992 demo, Candle of Life, resurfaced in 2025 as a limited-edition vinyl via Lost Realm Records, reaffirming their enduring appeal.
