On October 17th, Dying Victims Productions will release Armoured Knight’s debut album “The Quest for the Sacred Melody” internationally on CD and vinyl. The Chilean speed metal band unveils the new track “Forgotten Grace”, now available to stream in full.
Formed in 2009, Armoured Knight have been channeling the spirit of ‘80s underground legends like Helloween, Savage Grace, and Pokolgép. After several lineup changes and a hiatus in 2014, the band reemerged stronger in 2017 and delivered two EPs that paved the way for this first full-length.
Spanning eight songs in 35 minutes, “The Quest for the Sacred Melody” marks a leap forward in power and precision. Their sound blends searing speed and intricate melody, with hints of early Blind Guardian shining through the blazing leads. Tracks like “Endless Light” showcase their dynamic range, shifting from rapid-fire rhythms to brooding mid-tempo marches, all grounded in vintage production that perfectly captures the band’s classic metal roots.
