Band of the day: Roadrash (Canada)

Roadrash is a high-octane speed metal band hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. Formed in 2014, they’ve carved out a fierce reputation in the underground scene with their relentless riffs and unapologetic themes of speed, liquor, and violence. Proudly independent and unsigned, the band has delivered raw intensity across releases like their full-length Thunder in Paradise, the self-titled EP Roadrash, and singles including Burnout and Accelerator.

They’ve kept fans on their toes with compilation appearances; most notably 666 MPH on MAR Sampler Vol. 1 and demos stretching from You Know the Point to 2021’s Wild Heat. Though activity has quieted in recent years, the band’s legacy of breakneck metal fury remains anything but forgotten.
