With a sound rooted in classic metal traditions and a fierce sense of identity, the band channel the spirit of Catalonia into every riff, rhythm and roar.Their debut full-length album, 1714, released in 2022 via Fighter Records, brought to life the dramatic events surrounding the fall of Barcelona during the War of the Spanish Succession. It marked a bold statement of intent—melding historical narrative with galloping guitars, soaring vocals and thunderous percussion.
Now, Whirlwind are preparing to strike again with a brand-new album currently in the works.
