RAGE unveil their most uplifting and diverse album yet: “A New World Rising”

German metal veterans RAGE are set to ignite the metal world once again with their upcoming studio album “A New World Rising,” out September 26, 2025 via SPV/Steamhammer. Marking a bold and spirited departure from their previous dystopian opus “Afterlifelines,” this latest release captures the band at their most optimistic, energised, and creatively expansive.

Led by founding member Peavy Wagner (vocals, bass), alongside Jean Bormann (guitar) and Vassilios “Lucky” Maniatopoulos (drums), A New World Rising unleashes a thunderous metal assault infused with a fresh sense of clarity and hope. The record blends Rage’s signature sound with modern textures, resulting in what may be their most stylistically diverse and emotionally uplifting album to date.

“This applies not only to us, but to everyone,” says Peavy Wagner. “We need to get out of the destructive mindset that is currently omnipresent. There’s so much negativity in the world today, and often it’s used to control people through fear. Our message is simple: Think independently and question what you’re told.”

The album’s first single, “Freedom,” encapsulates this spirit; a fierce, high-energy anthem centered on the fundamental values that unite humanity. The track is available now, accompanied by an electrifying music video:
