German heavy metal band Steelpreacher are cranking the volume back up with the announcement of their brand new album, “Gimme Some Metal,” set for release on September 5th, 2025. A thunderous ode to classic heavy metal, the upcoming record promises burning riffs, raw energy, and a no-compromise sound that has become the band’s trademark.
Ahead of the album’s release, fans can check out the first single, “Hell Ain’t What It Used To Be(er).” The track features a special guest appearance by Gerre, frontman of German thrash metal legends TANKARD, who brings his unmistakable voice and signature beer-fuelled energy to the collaboration.

“We’re fired up, we’re loud – and once again, we’re delivering real, uncompromising metal,” says Preacher, frontman of STEELPREACHER. “This album is our way of thanking the scene that has supported us for a quarter of a century.”
To mark the album’s release, Steelpreacher will take the stage on September 19th, 2025, at Café Hahn in Koblenz. Joining them for this special night is Motörblast, the ultimate Motörhead tribute band, promising an evening dedicated to Lemmy, leather, and loudness; a must for any true headbanger.
Fans eager to get their hands on “Gimme Some Metal” can pre-order the album now as CD or vinyl directly from the band by emailing: shop@steelpreacher.de.

The band is currently planning a series of festival appearances and club shows to celebrate their anniversary year in style, with plenty of surprises in store for their loyal fanbase. With “Gimme Some Metal,” Steelpreacher reaffirm their place in the pantheon of true heavy metal; loud, proud, and unapologetically old school.
