Kaine completes instrumental recording for upcoming album “Extinction’s End”

UK heavy metal band Kaine has officially completed all instrumental recordings for their highly anticipated new album, Extinction’s End. Guitarist and founding member Rage Sadler and bassist Isaac Healy finalised their tracking, marking a major milestone in the album’s production.

Extinction’s End” reimagines a collection of songs originally developed during the band’s “Covid-era” period. These tracks, previously released across multiple platforms and studios, have now been fully re-recorded from the ground up. Featuring new arrangements, revised structures, and a different tuning, these definitive versions reflect how the band has been performing them live during recent tours.

A live counterpart to the studio release, titled “Final Extinction,” is also planned for later this year and will capture the energy of the band’s current stage renditions.

Vocal tracking for “Extinction’s End” began recently, with Sadler completing roughly half of the sessions before being forced to pause due to ongoing health challenges affecting his voice. The band has stated they are prioritising Sadler’s recovery and are managing the situation cautiously.

“Rage is making progress, but we want to ensure a full and safe recovery before resuming the final recording sessions,” a representative for the band said. “Thankfully, most of the vocals are already complete, so we’re confident the album will be wrapped soon.”

Further updates, including release dates and track listings for both “Extinction’s End” and “Final Extinction,” are expected in the coming weeks.
