Nameless Grave Records is proud to announce the long-awaited reissue of The Animal Spirits, the eighth full-length album from legendary US true metal pioneers The Lord Weird Slough Feg. Originally released in 2010, this fan-favourite returns to print for the first time in nearly 15 years—now available for pre-order on both LP and CD, with dispatch expected in late July.

Formed in 1990, Slough Feg had firmly established themselves as icons of the American underground by the time The Animal Spirits arrived. Marking a shift in tone, the album features short, high-energy tracks, pun-laden lyrics, artwork by frontman Mike Scalzi, and a guest vocal appearance by Brocas Helm’s Bob Wright. The result is one of the most celebrated entries in the band’s later discography.

This reissue from Nameless Grave Records includes brand new liner notes, a complete lyrics sheet for the very first time, and a refreshed layout courtesy of Obscure Visions. Both CD and vinyl formats are available.
