Cruz Del Sur Music proudly announces the release of “Fires On The Mountainside,” the second full-length album from Chicago’s epic heavy metal act FER DE LANCE. The album will be available on June 27, 2025, in CD, LP, and digital formats.

Named after the deadly spearhead viper, Fer De Lance delivers another piercing entry into the world of epic metal, blending melodic, folkloric, and ancient sounds with the thunderous weight of heavy metal. Drawing inspiration from acts like Atlantean Kodex, Rainbow/Dio, and Rotting Christ, the band continues to carve out a mystical, atmospheric niche in the genre.

“Fires On The Mountainside” is a richly layered album that invites listeners into a realm of black-winged omens, fiery revolutions, and ancient powers. Fans of epic heavy and power metal with doom-laden undertones will find a captivating experience. Notably, the album incorporates black metal elements to enhance the atmosphere and expand the sonic palette.
