Lyzzärd return in full force with the release of their brand new single, “Riders in the Dark.” Following “Viper’s Bite,” the track that marked a turning point in the band’s musical direction, the quintet dropped the new single on 22nd May across all major digital platforms.

Recorded at THE WIZARD studio in Porto, the track was engineered and mixed by André Ribeiro, mastered by Tiago Loja, and once again self-produced by the band.

“Riders in the Dark” draws heavily from Lyzzärd’s classic influences, blending elements of classic rock and traditional heavy metal. With a more direct and raw sound, the single reinforces the band’s renewed creative energy while staying true to the identity that has always defined their music. The song is a rallying cry of strength, unity, and resistance against oppression.

As the band explains:
“Even when everything around us seems to be falling apart, we stand together, and in the end, united, we make a difference. ‘Riders in the Dark’ is all of us who, today, fight on and never give up, no matter the oppression.”
