Hellbotn Metalfest is proud to announce the official kick-off event for the 2025 festival, taking place Saturday, June 21st at Kolben Culture House in Kolbotn. This exclusive evening of uncompromising metal will be held in Hall 4, offering a raw and intimate club atmosphere for dedicated fans of the underground scene.

A limited number of tickets are available. All advance ticket holders will automatically be entered into a draw to win a full festival pass to Hellbotn Metalfest 2025 in August.

Line-up:

• Steel Inferno (Denmark): One of the leading bands in the new wave of classic metal, Steel Inferno delivers high-energy, precision-driven speed metal influenced by acts like Agent Steel and Metal Church. This will be the band’s first-ever performance in Norway.
• Execration (Norway): Known for their intense and unpredictable style, Execration combines death metal with elements of doom, black metal, and dark psychedelia. The band has won a Spellemann Award and is considered one of Norway’s most distinctive extreme metal acts.
• Rioter (Norway): A thrash metal band from Haugesund that impressed both judges and audiences at the Hellbotn Metal Battle in March. Rioter is known for energetic, straight-forward performances that deliver a powerful impact.
• YVRIS (Norway): A new name on the scene, YVRIS is already gaining attention for its heavy blend of doom, sludge, and black metal. Their sound features jazz-inspired blast beats, groove-driven bass lines, and a distinctive vocal style.

Before, during, and after the concerts, DJ Metalbastard and DJ Snowflake will provide music and atmosphere on the outdoor patio area.
