From May 1st to 3rd, 2025, Ochtendung will transform once again into a vibrant hub for Heavy Metal fans as the legendary A CHANCE FOR METAL FESTIVAL (ACFMF) makes its return. Fans from across Germany and Europe will gather to experience a weekend packed with high-energy music, great company, and unforgettable performances from top-tier bands.

Tickets for both weekend and day passes are available through MPLUS, EVENTIM, and METALTIX. A weekend ticket grants access to all concerts and festival activities, while camping requires a separate ticket. For those who decide to join the fun at the last minute, tickets will also be available at the box office.

In a special offer for Ochtendung residents, Friday tickets are available for €30 and Saturday tickets for €40, but these can only be purchased at the box office, so be sure to bring an ID.

The festival kicks off on May 1st with a free Open House Day, offering a preview of the excitement to come. Starting at 12:00 PM, the beer garden at the Kulturhalle (or indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate) will host DJ Benne, who will get everyone in the mood with a Metal Karaoke and the best Rock & Metal anthems. Dark Sun will follow with acoustic Metal covers, creating a perfect atmosphere to launch the festival weekend.

On-site payments will be possible with cards, and weekend ticket holders will receive both a hard ticket and a fabric wristband. All food and drink offerings will come from local vendors, including the refreshing Vulkan Bio Beer (available in both dark and light, 0.4l for €4). The festival prides itself on fairness and quality, ensuring that the entire experience is as enjoyable as possible for all attendees.

The festival lineup is stacked with incredible acts. On Friday, May 2nd, enjoy performances from Skelfir (Viking-Death Metal), Dragonsfire (Power Metal), Fabulous Desaster (Thrash Metal), The Night Eternal (Heavy Metal), and a special Bathory tribute by Blood Fire Death. The music continues on Saturday, May 3rd, with a diverse range of bands including Old Mc Bezen & Dunggaree Dan (Trashgrass/Murderfolk), Swart Impaler (Plague and Death Metal), Sextrow (80s Hardrock/Glam/Sleaze), Liverless (Heavy Metal), Greydon Fields (Heavy Power Thrash), Japanische Kampfhörspiele (Grindpunk), Sacred Steel (Heavy Metal), and Dust Bolt (Thrash Metal).
