The Burgbrand Open Air festival will return for its fifth edition in 2025, once again taking place at the Brandenburg Castle Ruins (Burgruine Brandenburg) in 99834 Gerstungen, Germany. Set across three days, the event will run from Thursday to Saturday and will maintain the familiar and intimate atmosphere that has characterized the festival since its beginning.

The program will begin on Thursday with the traditional “Metaldisse” – a DJ night dedicated to metal music. On Friday and Saturday, live band performances will take center stage, followed by aftershow parties each night. A total of 15 bands are scheduled to perform throughout the weekend. Acts confirmed so far include Fvneral Fvkk, Assi Assassin, Beehoover, Jesus Crustus, Smoulder, Blindgänger, Victim, Coltaine, Fusion Bomb, Undertow, Turbokill, New Force, Campa, and Olymph.

Ticket options include a limited Early Bird Weekend Pass priced at €45, with only 100 available. Once these are sold out or from January onward, the Regular Weekend Pass will be available for €50. Single-day tickets are priced at €30 for Friday and €35 for Saturday. Tickets at the door will cost an additional €5 for each type.
