After a hiatus, heavy metal band SYRINX is back with a vengeance, gearing up to release their highly anticipated second full-length album, “Time Out of Place,” later this year. With members hailing from Vancouver, Denver, and beyond, the band has reunited stronger than ever, bringing fresh intensity and dynamic musicianship to their latest effort.
Forged from the remnants of SPELL, FUNERAL CIRCLE, and TRAVELER, SYRINX first emerged as a raw, exploratory force, culminating in the release of “Embrace the Dark – Seek the Light.” Now, after years of evolution, lineup changes, and creative rebirth, the band is ready to unveil their most refined and powerful work yet.
The final touches are now underway, with guitarist Graham McGee and vocalist Jean-Pierre Abboud traveling to Toronto to complete the analog mixing process, ensuring Time Out of Place captures the organic warmth and depth that only true analog recording can provide. With a reinvigorated rhythm section featuring bassist Evan Findlay and drummer Seth, SYRINX is set to unleash a sound that is as ferocious as it is transcendent.
Fans can expect soaring vocals, serpentine riffs, and intricate twists that pay homage to early Genesis and late-era Voivod, while pushing the boundaries of heavy metal’s esoteric and emotional landscape.
SYRINX remains dedicated to delivering heavy metal for the romantic warrior in us all, and Time Out of Place is set to be their most compelling chapter yet. Stay tuned for official release dates, singles, and tour announcements in the coming months.
