Dead End Irony’s “Gone” revives heavy metal in its purest form.
Formed in Imatra, Finland, in 2010, the band is now set to release their first full-length album, “Battles and Brotherhood.” The fourth single from the album, “Gone,” channels the raw energy of classic ’80s European heavy metal.
Written by the band and produced by Teemu Aalto (Insomnium, Ginger Evil, Marianas Rest), the track delivers a powerful blend of melody and intensity.

“The song combines melodic elements with a hard-hitting riff. There is a lot of repressed emotion in the lyrics. Gone is about what it feels like to keep fighting even when you know you’ve lost—because you don’t know what else to do,” says lyricist Antti Vainio.
