About Ultrapower

Produced by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Tallah, King 810), ULTRAPOWER is STRIKER’s seventh full-length album, following their JUNO-winning Play to Win (2018), also self-released on Record Breaking Records.

Written over several years since 2018, ULTRAPOWER captures the band’s evolution and fearless experimentation. From the Malmsteen-esque shredding of “Circle of Evil”, exploring secret societies, to the arena-ready anthemic riffs of “BEST of the BEST of the BEST”, the album delivers unrelenting energy. “Blood Magic” taps into progressive metal à la King Diamond, while “City Calling” dives into late-’80s AOR and pop rock, channeling the spirit of Toto and Kenny Loggins.

Pushing further, STRIKER ventures into synth-wave territory with “Live to Fight Another Day”, proving their ability to blend classic influences with modern edge. With massive hooks, virtuosic musicianship, and unshakable energy, ULTRAPOWER stands as a shredding love letter to hard rock’s golden era—and a testament to STRIKER’s place at the forefront of heavy metal today.
