Traveler are have a new album in store and in the process running up to its release the band has sadly said goodbye to their bassist Dave Arnold. In March/ April they posted these posts on their facebook:
**SAD NEWS**
Over the last few years, our boy Dave Arnold has been studying to be a paramedic. We knew the day would come when he wouldn’t be able to commit to the band. And unfortunately for us, the time is now. So, Dave will be stepping back from bass duties in the near future. You can still catch him live one last time at Hyperspace in Vancouver and Calgary this April.
Despite being an Oilers fan, we’re so lucky to have had him. He may not be rockin with us but he’ll be saving lives. And that totally rocks too. Give this guy some love and send him off proper!
That being said, we have a guy that’s more than fit for the job. I think you’ll agree. More details on that soon. Stay heavy!
Dave’s last gigs were a complete success despite ridiculous airport shenanigans! We’ll miss this dudes energy both on and off the stage. And you better believe we’re gonna try to convince him to join us for a song or two for the album release.

And now a month later the band have announced who Daves replacement will be!
Please welcome our new bassist Mr. Jake Axl Wendt!
I’m sure some of you could predict this. We’ve been playing in Hrom together for many years. And the powerhouse combo of Nolan and Jake is an absolute treat. He shreds with the best of em and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.
His first gig with will be in Fresno for Frozen In Time fest. Give him a boy howdy for us.

For now the band has loads of great shows coming and It we shall have to wait a while longer until we see some updates for their next release!
